An Obsticle That Was No Match For The Wise

Hello,

This past Thanksgiving was the first obstacle with my family and I am happy to confirm that I walked into my aunt's house with unwavering determination and confidence. I was scared for nothing.  It just goes to show that I have built up a very high and respectable self-esteem for myself.

That does not go unnoticed where my loved ones are concerned! With that in mind I have gained maximum respect from my family members. I am also happy that I faced them, because I was worried about  how they would think of me and the mountain of questions they would ask me, because I have been at Eastern for three of four months now. Humans are always very curious when it comes to life changing events!

I can't believe I only have two weeks left of my freshman fall semester! However, in those two weeks there is always room for improvement and other valuable life lessons. It is not going to be fun either, finishing up the last week of classes and than hit the books for finals. College life is not easy folks!

I hope you all had a nice and lovely Thanksgiving! Oh and how about Black Friday? Not that much of a battle this year where I shopped!

Take care,
Lauren
